Vacancy: Database marketer with an eye for sales and marketing experience
Function
The database marketer is responsible for the implementation of all database activities within the Department of Market Management. In this role you contribute to the local marketing and the execution of the marketing plan. You support the local marketing management team with regard to the database marketing strategy and tactics and supports the local market management team (Senior Product Manager, communications Manager and marketing Specialist) in the processing of Systematic and technical aspects of database marketing.
The database marketer is aware of all developments regarding database marketing and can translate them to the customer's situation in order to continuously optimize the conversion for sales & marketing.
Main responsibilities
* contributes to the local marketing plan regarding database marketing, strategy, tactics and other relevant operational activities;
* Create and manage database marketing annual calendar including required maintenance and updates;
* Provide accurate and timely up-to-date database marketing reports with an eye on quality and coverage of the suspect and prospect database at different levels;
* Managing, tracking and keeping the suspect and prospect database up to date, leading to an optimal performance of marketing campaigns (Direct Mail, email and telemarketing).
* Support the marketing manager during the development and implementation of campaigns.
* The creation and development of files for telemarketing including periodic updates on a (semi-) automatic basis, including customers, status and rating;
* Monitor existing update processes between Salesforce CRM and other customer systems.
Candidate
* At least 3 years of experience in relevant function (s);
* Knowledge of databases and CRM systems such as sales force and Marketo;
* Extensive knowledge of Excel or Access;
Proactive;
* Affinity with financial services;
* Fluent in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing;
* Excellent team player;
* Local market knowledge and very customer oriented;
* Organizational talent;
* Know to deliver and prioritize;
* HBO Level
