Function
In This function, you are dealing daily with the sale of bank guarantees through the provision of guarantee facility to selected prospects and existing important customers. You will be in contact with local and international top 500 companies. You have helped by structuring large, complex (international) transactions for guarantee facilities of 5-100 million euros. You identify new business opportunities and provide a long term relationship. Of course you monitor the quality of your customer portfolio and control your customers so they are very satisfied.

Main responsibilities
* Focus on new customers by means of (cold) acquisition, as well as the use of the customer's network and its intermediaries.
* Writing qualitative credit proposals in cooperation with the Risk team;
* Relationship Management with your existing customers with clear focus on growth. You maintain contact with your relations at the level of Board of directors, financial directors and Treasury Managers;
* You are always aware of the latest (financial) information;
* You set up credit and renewal proposals in accordance with the forthcoming revisions;
* Your strategy is to make your customer portfolio grow diverse in a variety of market segments in a competitive niche market;
* You have experience with prospecting through Linkedin and know how to generate leads through social business;
* Register your activities in Salesforce CRM;
* You provide timely and accurate reporting to the commercial director.

Candidate
* Experienced sales professional in the financial sector with a strong drive in selling complex financial products;
* Diploma at college or HBO level in law, economics, Business Studies or equivalent;
* At least 3-5 years of experience in relevant sales or account management positions in a direct sales environment;
* Experience and proven track record in the structured realization of sales and orders of large and complex transactions among TOP 500 companies in the following market segments:
– Capital Goods & Manufacturing
– Transport, Logistics & Storage
– Marine, Off-shore, Oil & Gas
– Wholesale, trade, Commodity & Food
– Building & Construction

* You are an expert and have know-how of specific characteristics of financings and appropriations;
* You have a proven track record in achieving goals;
* You have experience in and ability to act at C level level;
* You are pro-active and creative in implementing your commercial and business strategy;
* You have the drive to develop, to build your portfolio of customers;
* You have strong financial and risk analysis skills and have experience in writing a converting credit proposals;
* You are analytical and have knowledge of legal documents that you can talk about and negotiate, possibly in cooperation with external lawyers;
* You have a strong drive, are commercially a topper and strong in your communication;
* You present your professional and report timely and correct;
* You have a high energy level and are a self-starter;
* You are also a team player with a strong focus on converting proposals to deals;
* You speak fluent Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
