LinkedIn is more and more the direction of an integrated Customer information system, a CRM say. The data is already correct. After all, once someone has a new job, email or phone number One will customize this on LinkedIn to keep your own profile up to date and not miss any messages.
The next step for LinkedIn is that the data is for sale. There are already couple possibilities through the LinkedIn API with Salesforce and Microsoft CRM. Other CRM systems like Salesflare use the data from LinkedIn and other online resources to store the right data.
In addition to these steps, LinkedIn with Sales Navigator provides an online system that allows you to easily look up prospects, add these people to lists to track them. You manage your contacts and prospects by providing them with labels and now also by storing phone calls in Sales Navigator. Provided you use Android on your mobile.
Call Logging
LinkedIn has launched call logging to store calls and phone calls and link them to LinkedIn users you're connected to.
You need a mobile with Android and access to your contacts on your mobile. LinkedIn stores the following gegegvens:
  • Incoming and outgoing phone numbers
  • Call times
  • Call duration

LinkedIn does not have access to the content of your conversations. The data will be stored with the LinkedIn connections, provided that these persons have stored the phone number with their LinkedIn profile.
When your Sales Navigator account synchronizes with CRM, the call details will also be added to your contacts and leads in your CRM.
With this functionality, you can later add notes to phone calls and save them.
Activating Call Logging
When the Call Log function is available to you, you'll see a message on the intro screen of the Sales Navigator app that asks you if you want to enable call. Tap to and follow the prompts to set this up:
You can also always turn this feature on or off via the Appinstellingen of Sales Navigator:
  • Open the Sales Navigator app
  • Choose the settings icon
  • Choose the Account Settings tab at the top of the screen
  • Turn the switch to the left or right to turn the logon function off or on.

Learn how to turn on this feature for your app.
  • Call information is stored on your mobile device only until you choose to save them in Sales Navigator.
  • You'll be prompted every time to save call information and save call logs in the notes section of a lead profile.
  • Once stored, LinkedIn will use the data such as notes, call and detail data in accordance with the LinkedIn Policy.

Note: This feature is currently only available on Android and is not offered on IOS. This is a mobile only feature and is not available on the desktop version of Sales Navigator.
