New in OBI4wan: notifications in your browser
The OBI4wan software is constantly evolving. Every three weeks, new functionalities and sources added. Last night there is again a nice new update went live. The things that have been added from now on for each user of OBI4wan at a glance:
Notifications: would you like to stay informed about new posts from your social media in social CRM? Also, when you're not in the social media OBI4wan monitor at work? Set a bowser notification in!

After you have set this up you will get a pop-up of each new message. A notification is set per user by clicking on the bell at the top of a webcare profile.
Facebook comments: it is now possible in OBI4wan to monitor only first-level comments on a specific Facebook post. This is set in a search query with the operator 'parentid', followed by part of the url of the original Facebook post. Users of OBI4wan read here the details of this search.

Edit events: In the content calendar you can place events yourself. You'll never miss those special days that are important to your customers.
The existing events on the content calendar can now also be adjusted so that you can add extra information or make a change to an event.
OBI4wan's mobile apps are also up to date. The following tweaks are also visible in the OBI4wan app after the update:
Groups in the app: searches that search or exclude from a group will also work in the OBI4wan application after the update.
Conversations in the app: the current conversation displayed in the webcare details screen will soon also be visible in the app.
Limit DMs in the app: The number of characters in a Twitter direct message has been increased to 5000 characters.
Nested search in the app: link to another search query within the app is also supported.
In addition, there are a number of updates to the API:
API – Export Account statistics: from the API it is possible to export the messages and associated statistics from the account dashboard.
Filter API – CRM fields: custom CRM fields can also be addressed in the API.
