Goodbye Customs Support. They were 5 cool years!
After five years of marketing activities for Customs Support Effective December 1, 2023, I am trading my title as Group Marketing Director at Customs Support for a month of reflection and holidays with my family and friends. It has been a fantastic roller coaster ride of marketing strategy, digital growth, team building, PMI projects and lots of teams meetings 馃帰
I started with a project for Brexit and quickly moved into a full-time role to build a marketing department in Europe. Our international marketing team has grown over the past few years into a professional group of great people, with whom I launched websites in multiple languages where content and advertising were the drivers for growth and lead generation, launched a new corporate strategy and group branding, managed multiple PMI projects to integrate acquisitions, organized offline events that were a great success for branding and new business sales, grew LinkedIn followers from 300 to over 18,000 followers, and most importantly, built a great team that was the most fun to work with 馃暫
A big thank you to the marketing heroes 馃檹 Bas van Steekelenburg, Yorick Buwalda, Kati Fortino, Hannah Holland and Ana Aguerre-Castellini in particular and to all the colleagues I worked with; you made every day a celebration 馃殌
I can't wait to see what ridiculous heights you Customs Support will take again. Until then, keep laughing harder than deadlines and success sweeter than your breakfast tea or morning coffee 馃挭
